Getting Closer

Wow, my 1/2 marathon is only about 3 weeks away and getting down to the wire. My fundraising has gone pretty well I only need to raise little less than $200 to reach my goal. I did a fundraiser at a place called Two Boots downtown here in Bridgeport. A great place to go, I couldn't have done it without help from my buddy Johnny Guitar & his band,my friends, family, my hubby and Bob D. at Two Boots. I had a lot of fun and I even got to sing a few songs too. It was the best time I've had doing my fundraising because a lot of it has been a bit stressfull for me with planning in short periods of time with a lot of running around. To all my blog buddies and friends I want to thank so much for supporting me in the last year since I've starting blogging and attempting to reach my goal of $1700 with Team in Training. I'm so excited, I'm a bit nervous since my schedule has been so crazy the last few weeks with my son being sick and trying to practice some music, and fitting the time to train. I'm gearing up for a nice long run tommorrow in my nice running shoes 10 miler... lets see how it turns out. Weekends now are almost impossible to fit long runs in at all.
