14 Days and Counting!!!

Wow only 14 more days to go and I'm sick and I'm not letting it stop me. I'm running a fever and coughing, but that's nothing compared to what I went through last year. I'm so excited. I might not beable to finish this race real quick, but I plan to finish.

I was thinking of all the folks I'm running this race for everyday... there aren't enough miles to run compared to what they have been through.

I'm running in Memory of:

My Cousin
Louise Mannie III
passed away age 19
Leukemia

My Aunt Marie
Leukemia
passed away age 59

My Uncle Bob
Lymphoma & Leukemia
passed away in his 60's

Kim Horin
passed away
Leukemia (for her husband Larry :D keep smiling)

I think about them everyday of my life knowing what they had went through.

I'm running in Honor of:

Kevin Reid
In Remission (You rock Kevin!!!)

Roger Morris
In Remission (This one is for you and Leslie)

Rosemary Rainey
In Remission (What a tough fight your amazing!)

Luther Cooper
In Remission (Keep smiling)

Elija Talley
(What a tough fight your so brave Elija at such a young age)

All these people have been through so much as well as their families, they are all incredible and amazing. I wish I could do more for them.

Running a 13.1 miles is nothing compared to what they all have been through as well as their families.

I want to thank my all my friends, blogger followers and family members for supporting me. I also want to thank Team in Training, my mentors Jessica Arrien and Fred Harmon as well as the ladies at Team in Training Connectictut Chapter(Nicole and Tina) for all your support and help and encouragement to get me this far. (Also Chuck Householder a TNT member who is very supportive as well.)

Tammy, just try and get well and I positive that you'll cross that finish line.

good luck with the training, but be careful to take care of yourself first....or the race wont happen

Take care of yourself, Tammy! 14 days is enough time to get well and get ready for a great race. Wonderful idea to list those whom you are running for.
