First Month of Training

Today, I finally decided I needed to start recording my training on my running. So far it's been roughly 3 weeks since I've started my first part, and it feels great. Today I did a nice easy run of 3.4 miles. I ran 1.7 and walked the rest because the gym on Monday's seem to take alot from me. I pretty much work on my abs and arms on Monday's and Tuesday as well as some cardio at the gym, but all the other day's I'm pretty much out running my normal course around the neighborhood. It was a little tough getting motivated, but I got out there did something today, tommorrow is my big run of the week which I usually do at least once a week. Driving around has helped me record my distances, so I'm trying to decide a run of 5.1 or 4.3. I'd probably be more comfortable doing a 4.3 mile run tommorrow since 3.4 seems to pretty comfortable for me. The only thing is tommorrow I have to fast early for blood work, so I'm really hopeing it won't be a damper on my run. So, hopefully I will be prepared my October, I've taken some advice from Christina on regards to getting some running socks and I purchased a decent pair of arch supports for my sneakers. Boy what a difference that made. Well anyway, I will record hopefully my times and miledge daily, they won't be super accurate but pretty close. Thanks to Christina for all the encouragement you have given me. There is no excuse now why I can't do this.
